Getting Started
I started by performing a rapid heuristic analysis of their current app, rating issues by severity, and providing recommended solutions.
I also created a detailed design crit of current application screens.
Digging In
Initial areas of focus were:
Improve overall aesthetics
Make layouts and interactions more consistent
Make it easier for users to onboard and get started using the app
Enhancing clarity on a technically complex product
The Result
Through collaboration with their technical and product leadership and design iteration, we arrived at a final product that met user needs and provided unique functionality in the file sharing and security space.
Our team received 2 patents for the novel concepts we created.
